  1. New Voting Machine Test Unit - Federation of Neighborhoods Meeting

    A demonstration unit of the new voting system that will be used throughout Georgia starting in March will be available for the public to use and test. The new system is paper based, while still using secure technology for voter accuracy.

For the month of February, free WaterSense labeled showerheads will be available at the following locations while supplies last: ACC Water Conservation Office 124 E. Hancock Ave, 2nd Floor M-F, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Athens Hardware 1080 HWY US-29 M-F, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Normal Hardware 1328 Prince Ave M-F, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; Sat, 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. A WaterSense label means the product is at least 20% more water-efficient than the traditional counterpart AND performs as well or better. To earn the label, a product must meet EPA's specifications and undergo independent, third-party certification.
