Print Launch and Sale

This is so exciting! We are thrilled to announce the first of the Lyndon House Arts Center Artist Edition Series, a signed artist print gifted by David Hale. The 12 x 28 inch screenprint, Resistance (pictured above)will be available to purchase for $50, 100% of profit goes directly to the Art Center’s programming. This event, made possible by the Lyndon House Arts Foundation, includes a reception and preview of David Hales's exhibition, Beloved Land.

Every aspect of The Beloved Land Series echoes David Hale’s love for Athens, Georgia. Hale draws his influence for these multi-media works from the Creek (or Muscogee) Indians, who called this land, between the forks of the Oconee Rivers, Ikunu- tchaka, the Beloved Land. Hale says “It was more than a special place to them, it was Sacred, and they gave their lives to protect it and the creatures that reside upon it.”
