Public Meeting Regarding Firefly Bridge Over Trail Creek

The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department will host public meetings on Monday, September 16 and Thursday, September 19 regarding the preferred design concept for the Firefly Bridge over Trail Creek.  

The meetings will take place 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Athens Clarke County Planning Auditorium located at 120 West Dougherty Street.  For those that cannot make the meetings, Park Planning staff will be present at the Athens Farmers Market and the West Broad Farmers Markets on September 21.  An opportunity for online comment will open September 16.

During the Public meetings, the design consultant will present the preferred design concept for the Firefly Bridge over Trail Creek. A robust public input process and guidance from stakeholders helped narrow down the design concepts to the preferred design.  The design consultant will discuss the project progress to date and future steps in the process.
