Water Business Office Temporarily Operating with Limited Services
Your safety and health are important to us. To minimize the risk and spread of COVID-19 to our customers and staff, the Water Business Office is closed for in-person transactions at this time. If you typically pay your water bill in person, please chose from one of our other payment methods: mail, online, or visit our dropbox at 124 E. Hancock Ave. Due to the inconvenience, the Public Utilities Department will suspend late payment fees during the period of limited services.
If you need to have water service turned on/off or have a water service emergency, please call 706-613-3481 and press "0" to speak to an operator. Please check back for updates and notification of a return to regular business hours. We appreciate your understanding as Athens pulls together to protect our community.
Pay your bill online. Have your customer account number available for first time setup. Customers must have received one bill before being eligible to create an account to pay online.
