As the 35,000+ University of Georgia students return to Athens and start/stop/transfer water service, the Water Business Office experiences heavy volume, both in office and on the phone. Despite adding additional staff and a call center, customers paying a monthly bill may experience extended wait times or busy signals. We are working as quickly as possible to address the needs of every customer. Please note the early morning hours seem to experience less traffic and may be the best time to reach us by phone. If you have received your first bill, you are eligible to sign up and pay your bill online. We look forward to assisting you with your water needs and appreciate your patience.
Pay your bill online. Have your customer account number available for first time setup. Customers must have received one bill before being eligible to create an account to pay online.
By Bank Draft
To pay your bill by bank draft, please print the Bank Draft Application. Bring the completed form and a voided check to 124 E. Hancock Ave. Payments will be automatically deducted from your checking account by the due date on your bill. To pay your bill by mail, please use the payment stub and mailing envelope provided in your bill. Checks and money orders can be made out to ACC WBO and mailed to:
