Explore the trails at our parks by the light of a Full Moon on these guided hikes. Enjoy activities that enhance the beauty and magic of our forest at night. Wear trail appropriate shoes and clothing. Please bring a small flashlight or headlamp; we will have a limited number of loaner flashlights. Pre-registration is suggested to ensure you have a spot on the hike. Ages 6 and up.

Forest Walk and Talks
Take a walk in the woods with Trails and Open Space staff to explore the Birchmore Trail at Memorial Park or Southeast Clarke Park's Nature Trail. Informal discussion and examination of the plants and animals we discover along the path. Learn and share about local history, geology, and the human impact on our public spaces. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water. Ages 6 and up.

Kids Riverside Fun Ride
Pump up your tires and get ready to ride! Bring your bike, trike, stroller, or wagon for a 1K fun ride on the North Oconee River Greenway. Decorate your wheels at our craft station and parade through fun obstacles on the interactive bike path. Learn more about bike safety and the Water Cycle at pit stops along this easy course. Ages 11 and under.
