Project WET Workshop Project WET is water education for K-12 teachers to facilitate and promote awareness, appreciation, and stewardship of our water resources.

Speakers Bureau Is your church or community organization interested in Athens' water? We have programs on water quality, the perils of bottled water, statewide water issues, and others. We can customize a presentation to suit your needs. We give talks to groups of all ages, backgrounds, and interest level.
Rain Barrel Workshops Rain barrels help to conserve water and reduce erosion from stormwater runoff. The Water Conservation Office has partnered with the Athens-Clarke County Stormwater Division to offer rain barrel workshops. In this hands-on workshop participants work with ACC staff to build their own rain barrels and learn how to install them at home. Participants leave with their own, ready to install rain barrel!
