Beginning Jewelry/Metals

This class will cover basic metalsmithing and jewelry techniques including cutting out pieces of metal, putting on texture, riveting, basic soldering skills, basic forming techniques, and setting a cabochon stone. 3 finished pieces minimum. Basic materials, metal (copper and brass) and tools are supplied; an optional materials list will be available. This class can be taken up to 2 times, after that we recommend taking the intermediate/advanced jewelry class.

Date:  Tuesdays, Sept. 10 - Oct. 15, 2019 (6 weeks)

Time:  6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Fee:  $111 ACC Residents, $159 Non-ACC Residents (includes $15 supply fee)

Registration:  Registration begins Saturday, August 3 at 9:00 a.m. for ACC residents.  Non-residents may register starting Monday, August 5 at noon. Register online for this program
