Office of Park Planning

The Office of Park Planning is a function of the Park Services Division, providing design and planning services for the Leisure Services Department. Park Planning leads the development of Park Master Plans, develops standards for park facilities and amenities, and provides oversight of construction projects for the Leisure Services Department. Other projects include managing the Greenway Network Plan and developing park branding and signage elements.

Office of Park Planning staff have been working in conjunction with The Oconee Rivers Greenway Commission to update the Greenway Network Plan written document and the supporting maps based on past public input and new mapping information available to aid in analysis of the Greenway corridors.
