America Recycles Week 2018

2018-R4R-Poster (002)The ACC Recycling Division would like to invite you and your students to participate in America Recycles Day (ARD) through the Georgia Recycling Coalition’s Read for Recycling program. Recognized on November 15th, ARD is a wonderful way to educate and engage in recycling activities. For the week of November 10-17th, we ask students in K-12 classes to participate in Read for Recycling program to learn more about recycling and waste reduction through books.

The Athens-Clarke County Recycling Division will be hosting a local competition in addition to the Georgia Recycling Coalition.

The school with the most participation will receive a $100 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble, 2nd place will receive $75 and 3rd place will receive $50 to purchase waste reduction/recycling books for their library.
