From February through November, Athens-Clarke County Extension is offering free monthly gardening classes.  These classes take place at the Athens-Clarke County Extension office (275 Cleveland Road) from 6:00 -7:30 p.m.

Intended for gardeners of all experience and skill levels, the monthly classes will cover a variety of topics such as seasonal vegetable gardening, composting, beekeeping, and more. Registration is required.

April session:  This month we are offering our Green Thumb Lecture in a new format.  This lecture will take place online using Zoom (for more information about Zoom, visit zoom.com).  Anyone is welcome to attend.  If you attended the Green Thumb Lecture in March, we will be having our same speaker lecture on vegetable gardening again.  The Zoom meeting will open at 5:45 and we will have the lecture and questions go until 7:30 pm.  Please make sure to register as you will be emailed the Zoom link to attend the online meeting closer to time.  We hope you can attend!  For any questions, please email Laura Ney at lney@uga.edu.
