Painting with Will Eskridge

In the Mirror: Expressive Self Portraiture with artist Will Eskridge

Discover your true self while learning secrets of color theory and hidden painting techniques.  This class will concentrate on basic rules and then we will break them.  We will first spend time looking at color, brush selection and usage, composition and sketching.  Next, we will learn about facial anatomy as well as color temperatures and values of the natural environment.  Finally, we will reveal secret "eye popper" techniques and other rule breakers to truly express yourself.

PLEASE NOTE: Students that have taken Will's Flora and Fauna painting class would be ideally suited to taking this class as well; although, no experience is necessary.
