Summers Explorers is a program for ages 4-6 to experience a camp-like atmosphere at a young age. Four different sessions are offered during the summer. Find the dates and topics below.
All programs are 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Fee: $20/ACC resident; $30/Non-ACC resident; SCNC members receive 10% off per session. Pre-registration is required.

Summers Explorers “What If I had…”
What if humans had teeth like a beaver, feet like a duck or hair like a porcupine? Explorers will
visit with a few animals to learn why animals have these adaptations.

Summers Explorers “Dirt Doesn’t Hurt”
In honor of International Mud Month, we are going to be covered from head to toe in dirt! We’ll learn all the good things that grow in dirt, take a roll through the mud and design creatures out of the dirt we find. Be prepared to get dirty, muddy, and wet during this week.

Summers Explorers “I spy with my little eye”
Engage your senses to discover the natural world. Investigate how animals find their food, their homes and each other while comparing their senses to humans.
Date: July 6-8
Summers Explorers “Make a Splash”
Prepare to get wet during this week dedicated to water fun. Explore the creek and pond and what lives in the water.
