Office of Park Planning

The Office of Park Planning is a function of the Park Services Division, providing design and planning services for the Leisure Services Department. Park Planning leads the development of Park Master Plans, develops standards for park facilities and amenities, and provides oversight of construction projects for the Leisure Services Department. Other projects include managing the Greenway Network Plan and developing park branding and signage elements.

Currently Office of Park Planning staff are working on various master plan reports including the Memorial Park Master Plan, an update to the Bishop Park Master Plan, and a preliminary master plan for Tallassee Forest in conjunction with the Tallassee Forest Advisory Committee.
